This tour has it all!! Great for kids and the whole family! Let us take you on a great adventure to the country side of Tecate.
We'll drive for 1 hour among the mountains of Baja, east of Valle de Guadalupe and take you to an amazing private ranch "Rancho Tecate". Once there, a number of different outdoor adventures await you! Try zip lining across the lake, do some hiking and mountain biking, swim or row in a canoe. Full SPA service also available if you just want to disconnect yourself from the world. Get a massage, a facial or hot stone treatment while drinking wine and eating cheese. Lunch is served outdoors so you can enjoy an equestrian show by the Andalusian and Arabian horses. Lunch includes juice cuts of steak and pork on the grill, lots of organic vegetables and amazing desserts. After the outdoor activities and lunch, we will let you try the best craft beer in the region and do some tequila and mezcal tastings. The whole experience can be done in a day but if you want to take it slow, ask about our “Rancho Tecate” overnight stay package.

Arrival at "Rancho Tecate" for a full tour of the facilities.

Start outdoor adventures. Your chance to try zip lining, horseback riding, canoe rowing, biking, hiking or whatever makes you tick!!

You will be picked up at your location of preference and driven south across the border without having to get out of the transport. Once in Mexico, you will enjoy an easy one hour drive along the Pacific Scenic route towards Ensenada. During whale season you can actually spot a few whales along the way! Sufficient restroom stops if necessary. Once in Ensenada, we’ll go east for ten more minutes into wine country! By 11am you will be enjoying delicious reserve wine from Valle de Guadalupe!
You will visit three boutique wineries with wine tastings included, get a tour of the winemaking process and enjoy a delicious BajaMed, five course, lunch at Finca Altozano by famous chef Javier Plascencia.
This is a private tour aboard a luxury 6-14 passenger van with air conditioning and reclining seats. Only the people from your party will come along in your transport. No strangers! Plenty of legroom and free bottles of drinking water will be provided to each passenger! You are also welcome to bring your own drinks too (no large ice boxes).

Amazing!!
My family and I recently went on the day trip out of San Diego to Valle de Guadalupe with Mario. This trip exceeded all of our expectations and was the perfect way to spend the day. Mario took us to 3 different wineries as well as a restaurant where he set-up a 5 course meal that we all shared. It was a great cultural experience and we are except book another trip very soon!!

Spectacular day in Valle de Guadalupe
Our family, including adult kids, had a wonderful day trip from San Diego to Valle de Guadalupe. Mario planned a flawless trip including tastings at three unique and beautiful wineries, a delicious 5 course lunch which accommodated our daughter’s celiac without making her feel singled out, and plenty of time at each stop to enjoy ourselves without feeling rushed. Mario was very knowledgeable and professional, and was a pleasure to spend the day with. This trip exceeded our expectations, and we would definitely book again!

Excellent tour
Perfect day wine tasting in Valle!
I have taken wine tasting tours before but none compare to the fantastic experience I had with Baja California Wine Tours. Thanks to Mario, our guide, I was able to finally experience the amazing food and wine from Valle de Guadalupe that everyone is talking about. The tour was put together really well and everything was very organized. We were a group of twelve in a large comfortable new van with cold air conditioning. The three wineries visited were small but amazing. The best one was Cuatro Cuatros because it had the best view of the Pacific and we saw the most amazing sunset from top of the mountain. The food from Deckman’s was another highlight of the tour. I enjoyed been able to see the chef cook all the meal from his outdoors kitchen in the middle of the restaurant. My favorite were the Kumiai oysters!! The border crossing back to San Diego was smooth and not that long. Overall, I give Mario and Baja California Wine Tours six stars!!!

A Perfect Day with Baja California Wine Tours!
I highly recommend Baja California Wine Tours for your wine tasting in Valle de Guadalupe! The one day wine tasting tour my friend and I took was a perfect day. Mario, our guide, was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and wonderful company throughout the day. Our day was perfectly planned and the pace of our visits could not have been better. The wineries chosen were excellent, each different and interesting. Lunch was fantastic. Don't even consider another company for your tour to Baja! Go with Baja California Wine Tours!

Baja California Wine Tours
Mario, our guide, took my friend and I on a day tour through Valle de Guadalupe Baja Mexico from San Diego. We visited some fantastic wineries, did some wine tastings, cheese pairings and the lunch stop was amazing. Great seafood and vegetarian options. Will recommend to all my friends back in Canada!

Authentic Mexico guided by a professional
We were staying in San Diego and wanted to visit Mexico for a day trip. We were both keen to see Tijuana and experience some of the local culture, food, and beverages. Enter Mario! What an amazing and unforgettable experience!!
Mario was a professional and extremely knowledgable host who took the time to show us a great time. His local knowledge was highly beneficial when deciding what to do and see. We have definitely got lasting memories and will remember Mario's hospitality with fondness. He even took photos of us during our trip and provided all of the images for free when our trip was completed.
We would recommend Mario's tours above all.

Fun Family Excursion
If you are visiting San Diego, CA and are looking forward to going sightseeing in Mexico. I definitely go with this company, it has many tour packages to choose from at reasonable rates. I had family visiting from out of town, and we decided to go with the Puerto Nuevo Tour. Mind you this is not my first tour into Mexico so compared to the others this one is the best. Mario who runs the whole tour is awesome. He is so informative and knows all the right places to go. Not only are you getting everything mentioned in the tour package, but the best part is he is very flexible and is willing to give tours to small groups. With Mario, it seems as though he's very dedicated and passionate about what he does and it really shows on his tours. That's why you will not be disappointed.

Mario is Terrific!
Mario is an excellent tour guide and gave us an overall experience of Mexico. It was a perfect balance of adventure and relation. From the history, delicious Mexican food and beautiful sceneries.

Mario's the Best!!
We came out to San Diego to visit family and wanted a Mexico experience! Mario was so friendly and outgoing. He knew a lot of knowledge of the Mexican history and accommodated all of our needs. Riding ATV's on the beach and eating lobsters with margaritas with an amazing view by the sea. Mario was so generous to capture all of our moments as he took plenty of pictures of us, to memorize this fabulous trip!! I highly recommend Mario as your tour guide if your looking for an overall Mexican experience!!
