Great day, great service!
This was not my first time in the valley and not my first wine tasting tour. But it was my first time on tour with Baja California Wine Tours and I am glad I pick them for my tour this time. The group got picked up from San Diego at 9am just as planned. The drive to Ensenada was easy and in a comfortable airconditioned van. Mario, our guide, took us to three boutique wineries that offered the best reserve Nebbiolo and Grenache I have ever tried. The views from Cuatro Cuatros were magnificent and Mario made sure the whole group was taken care off and that nothin was missing. He even got us a delicious cheese plater at two of the wineries. For lunch we went to Finca Altozano where we were treated to an amazing BajaMed style lunch composed of octopus, zucchini, lamb, ceviche tostadas and other organic vegetables. A girl from the group was served cake and the waiters sang happy birthday in Spanish for her. The border wait was easy because Mario had a fast pass so we didn't have to wait too long to get back in San Diego. All in all I highly recommend Mario and Baja California Wine Tours because they pay attention to detail and they know the right people in the valley. Two thumbs up!!

Great Tour Guide
I was nervous about crossing the border to Mexico but I spoke with the Concierge at my hotel and they said it was safe and common for people to visit. They recommended Mario and assured me he was an experienced tour guide and they had been working with him for years. I was with my mother and son (12 yo). Mario was great! We did a private tour. He took pictures of us and sent them later. He patiently went with us shopping and even found a grocery store for us to go to because we were looking for a very specific item. We had an amazing lunch in Puerto Nuevo...yummy fried lobster. Very happy with the entire experience. It was a memorable day and both my mother and son really enjoyed it. He was on time picking us up and dropping us off and always professional. Highly recommend Mario’s company.

Great day in Valle de Guadalupe!
A few days ago I had the opportunity to visit Valle de Guadalupe on a tour with Baja California Wine Tours and the whole trip exceeded my expectations. Such beautiful scenery, the vineyards had amazing architecture and a nice all around welcoming ambiance could be sensed. The wine was excellent! Pagano from La Lomita was my favorite. Thanks so much Mario and Baja California Wine Tours for taking us on such a great trip to discover this wonderful treasure!

Valle de Guadalupe wine tour
This tour with Mario was excellent! The first winery, a smaller boutique winery, was our favorite, and lunch was positively exquisite! All of the wineries were picturesque, delightful to visit, one gave a ugh the winemaking process. Mario is extremely knowledgeable about Mexico, all of the wineries and accommodations and restaurants, and was also an excellent driver. We made it back over the border in record time. We highly recommend this tour, and. Mario!

Valle de Guadalupe Wine Tours and More...
Mario was an excellent tour guide! Was knowledgeable about the area and all the Wineries. He took us to a delicious lunch spot with a view as well. It was easy to communicate with him through text, email, and cell phone. I am amazed at all the beautiful locations for wine tasting he took us too. Wine tasting at different locations, lunch, pictures, and round trip is included along with Mario's friendly, knowledgeable, and phenomenal service. I felt very comfortable on the tour even though I went solo and the group was friendly. I will be coming back for more tours. Interested in the Ensenada and Puerto Nuevo tours also.

Day trip to Tijuana
My husband and I went to San Diego for my birthday and decided to do a day trip to Tijuana. What a wonderful decision and our tour guide Mario was excellent. He gave historical information took us to the cultural center of Tijuana. We visited the local out door market, ate authentic tacos, shopped in the downtown area and ate at the Hotel Ceasars where they made the salad dressing right at the table. We could not have had a better tour guide. Mario, thanks again for our tour. Highly recommended if you want a relaxed guided tour full of information with a pleasant personable individual.
