This tour has it all!! Great for kids and the whole family! Let us take you on a great adventure to the country side of Tecate.
We'll drive for 1 hour among the mountains of Baja, east of Valle de Guadalupe and take you to an amazing private ranch "Rancho Tecate". Once there, a number of different outdoor adventures await you! Try zip lining across the lake, do some hiking and mountain biking, swim or row in a canoe. Full SPA service also available if you just want to disconnect yourself from the world. Get a massage, a facial or hot stone treatment while drinking wine and eating cheese. Lunch is served outdoors so you can enjoy an equestrian show by the Andalusian and Arabian horses. Lunch includes juice cuts of steak and pork on the grill, lots of organic vegetables and amazing desserts. After the outdoor activities and lunch, we will let you try the best craft beer in the region and do some tequila and mezcal tastings. The whole experience can be done in a day but if you want to take it slow, ask about our “Rancho Tecate” overnight stay package.

Pick up from San Diego (location to be determined by customer).

Cross the border into Mexico via Tecate/Campo east of San Diego.
10:30 am
Visit the town of Tecate (main plaza, downtown and cerveceria Tecate).
11:30 am
Arrival at "Rancho Tecate" for a full tour of the facilities.
12:30 pm
Start outdoor adventures. Your chance to try zip lining, horseback riding, canoe rowing, biking, hiking or whatever makes you tick!!

You will be picked up at your location of preference and driven south across the border without having to get out of the transport. Once in Mexico, you will enjoy an easy one hour drive along the Pacific Scenic route towards Ensenada. During whale season you can actually spot a few whales along the way! Sufficient restroom stops if necessary. Once in Ensenada, we’ll go east for ten more minutes into wine country! By 11am you will be enjoying delicious reserve wine from Valle de Guadalupe!
You will visit three boutique wineries with wine tastings included, get a tour of the winemaking process and enjoy a delicious BajaMed, five course, lunch at Finca Altozano by famous chef Javier Plascencia.
This is a private tour aboard a luxury 6-14 passenger van with air conditioning and reclining seats. Only the people from your party will come along in your transport. No strangers! Plenty of legroom and free bottles of drinking water will be provided to each passenger! You are also welcome to bring your own drinks too (no large ice boxes).

Exceptional
The tour was exceptional!
Mario the tour guide, owner I believe. Was punctual, informative, professional. He managed to do everything in the short amount of time assigned for this tour. He also, modified tour to our liking.
The Lobster lunch and restaurant was excellent!
We also did beer tasting that was pretty good. We skipped tequila and cigars since we’ve done it recently in Cabo and playa del Carmen.
I highly recommend it!

Wonderful day tasting wine
Mario was a terrific and very knowledgeable tour guide for the Baja coast and the vineyards of Valle de Guadalupe.
The tours of the various vineyards was informative and the wine tasting was enjoyable.
One suggestion is to include an educational element to the wine tasting to inform tasters about the nuances of the wines, the nose, the appearance, the taste characteristics that each unique vintage holds.
The lunch was very special in the variety of foods and the taste treats provided.
The drive along the Baja coast was awesome in the views of the Pacific and the beaches.
The only downside was the one hour plus waiting in line at the border to get back to the USA.
Overall Mario provided an awesome tour for my family and I 'm so glad that we found his web site.

A great trip!
Mario is the best! Very knowledgeable about Mexican culture, politics, food, wineries, etc. He is a friendly, flexible tour leader that customizes his trips depending on the clients.

Fun day in Mexico's wine country

Fantastic Private Tijuana Tour
Mario was very knowledgeable in showing us some sights in Tijuana. The mescal, beer and taco tastings were fantastic. I especially enjoyed walking around the markets. I recommend Mario and his tours. I hope to do a wine tour in the future.

Amazing Winery Tour to Valle Guadalupe
We had an awesome time on this tour. Mario was amazing. From the initial booking to the actual tour, he took care of all the details, answered my many questions and kept all of us on track during the tour. We were celebrating my daughter's birthday and everything was perfect. I would highly recommend this company. We enjoyed 3 wineries plus lunch. We felt safe the entire time and would definitely do this again.

Ensenada
Great trip, Mario was the best tour guide I’ve ever had. He was very insightful and an all around great guy. This was our first trip to Mexico and he certainly made the group feel at ease. We plan on going on other tours with Mario. If you haven’t gone to Mexico, I HIGHLY recommend scheduling a tour with Mario.
